After initially trying prozac, with no effect, i immediately felt less anxiety on starting mirtazapine. It took a few months, with increasing dose, to notice an inmprovement with my mood. Worth persevering with.

My periods/cramps have been better since taking Yaz. Although, I have experienced some mild depression than when I wasn't on it and a few mood changes. I have had one irregular period and I have never missed a pill since taking Yaz. I am going to my gynocologist in the next couple months for a check up with Yaz. My Doctor prescribed this for me because he thought I was getting endometriosis.

This is a horrible drug that caused all kinds of side effects and made me miserable for the last 2 years. Started taking it due to gastritis from NSAIDS. Tried Pepcid first but got acid breakthrough after 1 month. Tried 10 mg capsules of Omeprazole, but they had a nasty aftertaste. Bumped up to 20 mg, then 40 mg. Constant bloating and abdominal pains. Hand tremor is the most obnoxious side effect of this for me. I take less of the med because of it, which means it doesn't work quite as well. Wellbutrin XL doesn't cause the hand tremors so I can take enough to be fully effective, but I can't afford it.

I take vitamin C to improve my immune health. Overall, I think it works but can't really prove it because I never had frequent cold symptoms to begin with. I figure a pill a day can't hurt.
