I found it to be the cleanest drug for mental health. Weight gain is slight . Its more wanting to eat than gaining the weight so discipline is good. I have just been on abilify and thought it to be notorious. Absolutely terrible, for me. I have gone back to Amisulpride. Even though i am male i lactate on this drug. Also have breast enlargement and sexual dysfunction. This may sound bad, but it is better than the torture of paranoia. Its a fantastic drug as long as you are consistent with it.

Ever since Zyrtec removed the ephedrine and went OTC, the stuff makes me borderline narcoleptic. Is there a prescription strength version that puts the pep back in?

In 3 years our son has only had Risperidone. We knew nothing about the illness and unfortunately this med has not helped greatly. He is on B3, B6, B9, Vit C, Vit E, Manganese, Zinc, Selenium, Omega 3 etc as per Hoffer's Orthomolecular programme and he is getting better slowly. I also give him Seagreens. I was originally prescribed pills that only contained 0.030 mg of synthetic estrogen for extremely painful cramps (and also hoped that they would help control some of my bad acne). I experienced some breast tenderness, and the acne hardly cleared as we had hoped. I was soon switched to MonoNessa, which has 0.035 mg of the estrogen in it, and I think it has worked wonderfully. I really appreciate this drug, and the effect it has on my blood pressure. It works really fast, and I can feel the change. It also releases my headache when I use it, and sometimes I even forget to take it in the morning, but it has no noticeable side effects for that. I would recommentd this drug to anyone.
