I've taken other statin drugs for many years and slowly drifted into the severe side affects w/o knowing it. I lived through the side affects, thinking it was an age thing. I have been on this medication since March 2010. I am now on 125 mcg and feel fantastic. This drug has really helped me to lose weight, my beautiful thick hair to come back and I am no longer tired when waking and feel like I have slept.

The pill was effective as a contraceptive, but I did not have a good experience with the side effects of the medication despite this being a "low dose" bcp. However, that being said, everyone has a different experience with different medications especially with the bcp because of people's different reactions to the hormones. I experienced headaches, fatigue, moodiness, and a considerable increase in breast size.
