At first I noticed some hair loss, thought it may be stress. After what was causing stress went away I was still losing handfuls of hair. I was trying hair loss shampoo, went to the Dr's who said maybe diabetes; got tested for that, nope. I have had normal blood pressure, top number in the 120's-130's, bottom # in the 70's, all of my life, and now that I have been on Yaz for a year my numbers have absolutely skyrocketed. Now I'm getting readings anywhere from the 140's over 80's all the way up to the 190's over 90's! Nothing else has changed, no weight gain, no other drugs or medical condition that could explain the sudden rise. My original dosing was only once a day, but around mid-afternoon I felt horrible and my symptoms were worse than ever. My psychiatrist switched me to one in the early morning and one in afternoon and, ever since, the change has been ridiculous. My finances are under control (because I can focus on taking care of bills as opposed to forgetting about them and then getting anxious), my work is a thousand times better and I am a lot more confident because my ADHD is being managed. This is my second time on seasonique. The first time I tried it I had heavy bleeding for 20 -25 days. That included me passing huge horrible clots. My doctor told me to get off once I told her. I was off for a year and the clotting continued. I just recently go back on the end of April. I was fine the 1st two weeks no spotting no bleeding. I started bleeding 5/8/11 and am still having heavy bleeding (passing huge clots) 5/23/11. Not sure what is problem. But going to see doc in June 2011.
