Retin A completely dried out my skin to the point where I didn't even want to use it. The skin around my eyes was dry and red and it hurt to even blink. I was only prescribed to use it every other day and i could only use it two or three times a week because my face would hurt so bad. I got red, peeling, and the dry skin. Nothing helped. I stayed on it to see if anything would get better (since i was told it would go from worse to better) and nothing happened. I wasn't happy with this.

I have had simular issues. I first started taking chantix Oct 29, 2008. I had terrible abdominal pain and severe nausea. So, I convinced myself to continue taking the drug because I thought nausea and abdominal pain was better than continuing to smoke. Boy was I wrong. I quit smoking on Nov 15, 2008 AND quit taking chantix 3 days later. I knew I had to because chantix was making me very ill. The first two weeks were horrible. I couldnt sleep and extreme nausia. after the two weeks it gets 90% better. Personally I did not want to get on this in the first place because it is for weak people that cant deal with life, but it made me feel better. I no longer take it though in fear of addiction. If i cant handle life now when can I?

At first, everything seemed to be going along fine, but as of late I am noticing more and more symptoms. I have never had irregular periods and since starting this medication, I have them frequently. My periods also last longer than usual. Acne was at first improving, but has had a sharp decline in recent days.
