Pristiq is a terrible drug. It made me feel like I was on an upper. I had more anxiety with it than without it. DO NOT stop this drug cold turkey. LIke with Effexor, you will have terrible discontinuation effects, including brain zaps.

I've been on Effexor XR for over 4 years now. I have recently added Lithium to boost the Effexor XR and it is working well. Effexor XR has got side effects like all medication but it works for me. With Lithium added I should be able to lower the dose of the Effexor. I was on 375mg a day for major depression and the headaches were too strong so I dropped back to 300mg which is better. SINCE TAKING ENALAPRIL, I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING SWALLOWING PROBLEMS THAT FEEL LIKE MY THROAT GOES INTO A SPASM, HOLDING THE FOOD UNTIL THE SPASM GOES AWAY,. SOMETIMES, IT IS VERY PAINFUL, AND I CANNOT EVEN SWALLOW LIQUID.

I took seasonique for about 6 months and I just went off of it. I've almost completely lost my sex drive which sucks! Other than that when I did get my period once every 3 months it was awful, I had terrible cramps/headaches, and the first few days were so heavy I bled through tampons on multiple occasions!
