I was taking Darvocet as a substitute for Vicodin because I was having too much Delirium and Nausea with Vicodin. I have a high tolerance to pain killers and when I was taking Darvocet it had no noticeable effect on the pain. I eventually stopped taking the pills because the small amount of pain relief I received was not worth the nausea and delirium I was getting from the drug.

i wish that the manufacturer would give some indication of the length of time we can expect to experience side efects so that in stopping the medication ,we werent throwing the baby out with the bathwater.we all accept that all meds have side effects, but the severity and duration of them is difficult to assessfor someone new to the drug thanks for a very useful and informative source of information

I took levora for about 6 months and had to stop because the side effects. I had never taken the pill before this and didn't know what to expect. I gained about 20 lbs within the first 4 months and constantly had breast tenderness. I had extreme mood swings and a complete loss of sex drive. I often felt tired and dizzy, and for days at a time would experience terrible headaches. I felt the Estring was the easiest way to resolve being the 1 in 3 who develop vaginal atrophy post-menopause. But over the course of time, my husband and I have found it necessary to remove it to have satisfying sex and I find it can slip out at unwanted times. As soon as I start to think im developing a cough my mom always gives me Robitussin. I like how it gives me good results after a few times of taking the medicine. The flavor is the only thing I dislike about it but rather than that I like this cough syrup the best !
