My doctor, after drawing and evaluating my blood, suggested that I take an iron supplement. The supplement was an over the counter one, having 150% of the daily value of iron needed in a healthy diet. Since I hardly need meat, she suggested that I buy something with a percentage that high. For the first few weeks that I took it, every time (even with a full stomach) I received painful stomach cramps and became extremely drowsy. I was on orthrotricyclen lo for a year and i constantly got yeast infections. I went through many medications but it would only clear up for about a month. I went to my gyno and she perscribed me to femcon fe this is my second month on it and I have not had a yeast infection since. The only difference is that my periods are super light and only last for like two days which is odd for me. I was actually wanting to know if that was normal.

Nausea was the main problem after having colon cancer surgery. Replaced with Tylenol with good results.

I've developed a lump in my breast since using the patch. I also have sharp pains in both my breasts since using the patch. My vision has become extremely blurred and I have to wear glasses since using the patch. I've been using Vivelle for about 14 months now. It helps with hot flashes, but the price is too high to pay since my vision is still decreasing. I'm going to stop using it.
