Cymbalta certainly does the job. Have had very little side effects from it at all. I am taking it to control my panic attacks. I did go through a period where my doctors office switched doctors and I couldn't get my perscription refilled for almost 5 days until they got it together. I was fine the first two days but the third through fifth day I was having dizzy spells and anxiety attacks from not taking it. I have been more than happy and satisfied until I came to know, all PRAZOLE substitutes can cause osteoporosis [a study done in U.K. and USA] I am noworried, as I have past menopause abot 10 years ago and am already taking Ca and other substitutes. I recently stopped taking PANTOCID and my husband put me on a different drug RANITIDINE Hcl, but it is not suiting me. I want to re-start PANTOICID but worried as it may worsen my osteoporosis further.

My doctor put me on seasonique to help with ovarian cysts & endometriosis. Even on a low estrogen birth control, I was having very painful periods. The first few weeks I was extremely hot all the time. I felt like a 30 year old woman having hot flashes. I couldn't eat because I felt nausa all the time. Finally that started to get better. I have taken Differin two different times. The first time Differin was just in a progression of increasingly strong topical acne medications, the first time the the Differin was ineffective in treating my acne. I then progressed and took Accutane which significantly improved my acne. I now use Differin cream as needed to treat random break-outs on my face and I now, having eliminted the severe acne with Accutane, I am able to use Differin with satisfaction.

Ortho-tricyclen has prevented pregnancy. However, part of the reason I started taking it was to clear up acne and regulate my menstrual cycle. I still have mild acne, and I still have slightly irregular periods.

Ibuprofen is usually very helpful for headaches and period pain. Although, I would rather take fewer pills to diminish that pain.

Dexedrine can act as an appetite suppressant. Although some may take advantage of this characteristic, I find that if I don't keep protein and small meals going and drink a lot of water I become edgy and nervy. Even if you don't feel hungry it is better to have a little something healthy (not sugary as this spikes and drops energy levels).
