It was used post-shoulder surgery as a pain reliever. I stopped taking it because of its awful side effects that caused vomiting, nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and fatigue.

I think this drug was just pushed onto people because its a "non" stimulant, not because it worked. Iam 25 and have ADHD Inattentive. I already had a problem with anxiety, being tired, not being able to focus, and never having any motivation. Strattera just seemed to make everything worse! Although I must say it helps with anxiety...but I was so tired (constantly yawning ALL day) I didnt really care about anything. I hate feeling high (smoking pot) and this drug made me completely hi... View full comment

I've been on Pristiq since the end of March. The negatives..the nausea was a beast the first few weeks but not intolerable. I don't sleep as well at night but its not to the point of insommnia. The positive, I am much more even, not nearly as irritable, etc. Still have some anxiety but its also better. I have lost over 10 lbs. I have no desire for sweets (which I ate everyday) or alcohol (which I drank very little of anyway - maybe 1-2 drinks a month if that). My libido isn't there but it has... View full comment

Weird episodes where I feel furious for no reason...just descends on me like a migraine. My fatigue is better, maybe? At first, Provigil made a big difference, quickly wore down, and the switch to Nuvigil gave me a bit more energy again. It is doing something stimulating, since I've got much more anxiety and those rage attacks, but I don't know if it's really improving my quality of life or ability to function. I preferred Provigil - didn't have any sort of mood swings on it, even though... View full comment
