I took this a few years ago and had HORRIBLE side effects and stopped it within one month. I developed horrible cramping, diarhea, blood in my stools. I also had severe abdominal pain that turned out to be kidney infarctions (like a heart attack in my kidneys) that was due to blood clots. The doctors could find nothing else wrong with me that would cause these symptoms. I stopped using NuvaRing and these symptoms immediately disappeared.

Hi. Just want to share my experience. I took Candex as indicated for about 2 weeks. I experienced pretty severe diarrhea the entire time. I work at home. I would not have been able to do this if I was not able to be flexible with my time. It got to a point where I had to stop anyway because of the frequency and severity. I started taking Zocor (simvastatin) for high cholesterol and it has lowered my cholesterol without making any other lifestyle changes (diet or exercise). It has worked consistantly for 10 years and the generic is nice because it was cheap

I found it to be the cleanest drug for mental health. Weight gain is slight . Its more wanting to eat than gaining the weight so discipline is good. I have just been on abilify and thought it to be notorious. Absolutely terrible, for me. I have gone back to Amisulpride. Even though i am male i lactate on this drug. Also have breast enlargement and sexual dysfunction. This may sound bad, but it is better than the torture of paranoia. Its a fantastic drug as long as you are consistent with it.
