I take Loestrin mainly as birth control rather than to relieve irregular periods. It's been an effective birth control but it can give me occasional cramping and abdominal pains.

Vyvanse is the best medication I have tried for ADD. I have some insomnia, which I could deal with and which may go away over time. I have taken the drug for 9 days now. My major problem is urgency to urinate, frequent urination and no relief. This awful feeling I will not be able to abide. I have submitted a sample to check for a UTI, but I probably don't have one. I noticed that those symptoms disappeared completely when I did not take a Vyvanse for a day and returned immediately when... View full comment

I only received the first shot as a 20 year old law school student, and 3 weeks later was diagnosed with severe RA. I get tired very easily, the humidity causes uncontrolled swelling, and stress will also cause swelling. As a third year law student, planning a wedding, and graduating, stress is a daily part of my life. I am unwillingly... View full comment

Doxycycline helped me visibly reduce my acne with very little to no side effects. It is just an antibiotic, not an acne treatment, so it works best supplemented with other treatments like benzamycin and retin-a micro. Taking doxycycline did not cause much, if any, discomfort.

I was prescriped Niaspan, but since I do not have drug insurance, the cost was prohibitive. I searched the web for a lower cost niacin and decided to try the Endur-acin because it was also extended release, came in 500mg doses, the cost for 500 tablets was $42.00, and other user comments made me feel it would be just as good. I have taken 2 500mg tablets per day along with pravastatin 40mg for the past 3 months. It lowered total from 200 to 168, triglycerides from 95 to 82, & LDL from... View full comment
