I was prescribed Lupron to stop my periods, which were always painful with heavy bleeding. Since I was in treatment for early stage breast cancer, it was also recommended to control the estrogen, which helped to produce my tumour. I had had two 1-month shots and I am never taking this drug again. I can stand the hot flashes, the exessiuve sleepiness in my case and the feeling of weakness in the muscles. I am a sufferer of menstrual migraines. I don't have bad periods, just a migrain for 7 days. Its hard to function with one full week out of the month designated to nursing a migrain. Seasonale has decreased these substantially!!! No spotting, easy period.This pill seemed to work like its supposed to for me. During the 4th month I am having some of the tight, heavy chest feeling and my blood pressure is too high all of a sudden. Working with the doctor to see what the cause is.

Ambien did not help me with my insomnia whatsoever. After taking it, I didn't feel drowsy and had no side effects at all. It felt like I didn't take a medication at all... it had absolutely no effect on me.
