I ahte this medicine. The doctor gave it to me as a muscle relaxant, but it is a lowering blood pressure medicine. So it clearly didn't work for me. It caused too much pain, and all my muscles tensed up.

Excedrin is the only thing that cures my headaches as well. None of the three active ingredients work for me by themselves, but together they're magic. Wish I had tried it a long time ago...

Your situation appears similar to mine. I had been taking Avapro (AKA Irbesartan) 150mg 2x daily which was doing the job. Then my drug insurer refused to cover it. Losartan was suggested as an alternative so I began that. I was on 50mg 2x daily which seemed to work; that was in 2012. I moved to a new state in 2012 and changed doctors. FYI Ladies - I have been treated for massive blood clots throughout my body because of Seasonique. The doc told me after 3 months I could go back to the gym - well went twice and developed lesions. I go to my son's FB game and within 30 min have 2nd degree burns. I am now on 2 inhalers because my pulmonary embolisms in the heat and humidity of summer make it virtually impossible to catch my breath. Seasonique isn't worth the risk. The main thing I did not like about Lyrica is that it really affected my memory which is horrible in the working world. It also left me tired, sort of hungover most of the time. I feel the side effects far outweight the benefits of Lyrica for me. I recently stopped taking it and I can focus so much better now.

I suffer from an overactive thyroid problem and am aged 35, I never used to get any side affect from Carbimazole. After stopping taking the tablets for a few years I am back on them again. However, I cannot take them without being violently sick.
