This medication made me feel worse. It is the worst medication I have ever taken. My doctor warned me that it might give me a bad taste in my mouth, but the taste didn’t bother me. What bothered me the most was the feeling it gave me. I became very nauseated and I couldn’t eat anything without almost vomiting. My stomach was in knots and I was very lightheaded. I would NEVER take this medication again.

was on lipitor for 27mos. befor developing rhabdomyolsis . had a cpk reading of 14,000 and unconcious . was hospitalized for 10 days and released w/cpk of 7500 . after treatment including 5 doctors at mayo clinic cpk was reduced to about 700 about 12 mos. into treatment . and then cpk began to crawl back up now 10 mos. later is at 2900 . have myopathy,periphael neuropathy,rheumatoid arthritis,tininitus,droopy left eye and very tired w/pain that jumps all over also had 2 biopsies supporting st... I had Novocain prior to having my wisdom teeth pulled and it worked well. Made the surgery a whole lot worse.

Started have a lot of heel pain---going to a foot doctor for that now. Also pain in my hips and legs. And stiffest in the hands. Memory is worst then before taking this med as well. My doctor took me off armor because they stopped making the 15mg and I need to take a 30 and 15. So he put me on this and it is 50. My grandfather has taken Niaspan for a little over 2 years, he started within the last month with more moderate waking up at night a flushing. He has been hoarse for a long time with the drug and has had a runny nose constantly for sometime. About 3 weeks ago he started with having difficulty as he puts it getting things down while eating.
