It was effective in preventing pregnancy as well as regulating my periods and lessing the pain of cramps during my period. However, as a healthy 18-20 year old, my sex drive was reduced dramatically to the point that I stopped taking this medication. When I stopped, my sex drive returned.

Tylenol is currently a monopoly drug that is commonly used for reducing fevers safely. So far, when I was hospitalized for high fevers, they gave me tylenol. Afterwards, there were no other medications that they can give to me to reduce my still raging fever besides packing me with ice.

On the day after I took 75mg (I took the pills at night) I started bleeding! I am post menopause. Haven't had a period in over 16 months. Now I'm having a hard time. I feel very weak an dizzy from the bleeding. I go back to to the doctor tomorrow to do blood work to see wha... View full comment

I started taking Yaz to treat my ovarian cyst problem. My doctor basically asked me which BC I wanted to be on and that was the only one I had heard of. The first week I was incredibly emotional and would cry over the littlest thing. As time went by my moods were more regular but I was definitely a lot meaner. While taking Yaz I would consistently get bad headaches, and nausea if I didn't take the pill at the same time every day with food. During the seventh month I noticed I had gained ten p... My original dose of 150 mg 2 times a day was too strong. Drowziness followed into the mid-day making my morning dose absolete. It did help my pain but prevented normal routines. I had to ease into and work up to the original dosage by starting with 50 mg 2 times a day. It is a better overall balance for me.
