Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. After about 30 days of taking aprodine (like with many other allergy meds), my body seems to get use to it and it is not as effective as when I first took the medication...As a result, I often have to change to a different med.

This drug helped my stomach issues although I suffered from major side effects. I reported the side effects to my dr at least 3 times last year and she never mentioned it could be this drug. Of course, I read the precautions on my prescriptions but my side effects were listed as very rare. It just didn't occur to me that it could be my stomach medicine.

My life has been taken from me - I can't do anything that I once enjoyed. Have had to drop out of college since I can't see to read, or think (brain fog), I can't get around without crutches or a wheelchair, can't drive a car anymore, am bedridden with fatigue/pain/migraines/muscle weakness/tremors/fainting spells, and have had very severe seizures. Hospitalized three times.
