I noticed some initial weight loss, but have not seen the promised (or out of the ordinary) weight loss. Slight increased energy levels, but nothing great. Don't yet think that I would recommend it for anything but antioxidants.

It was a great drug in the beginning, but later the side effects are very severe would not recommend. I had shortness of breath and chest pains, and I would work out everyday. I stopped the pills and after a week of not taking them I felt a lot better.

Horrible joint pain, to the point I could not stand or walk. Took my nephrologist to discover it was the med and immediately took me off of this. They say that the damage should not be permanent, but it's been 6 weeks and my hip is still very painful, although improved. VERY frustrating!!!

I have been taking Lybrel for just over a year. I noticed my eyebrows thinning and initially thought it was due to a bad wax job. However, they have continued to thin dramatically. I then noticed my scalp hair thinning. I asked my GYN and my primary care doc and neither thought it was related to the Lybrel. Very effective against pain. Was taking 10/350 dosage and it was knocking me out at first. Downside is it's very addictive and it doesn't take long to get lulled into the addiction.

Everytime I had a headache or pain for something, I would take Ibuprofen to help the pain go away. It helped so much. This is my favorite medicine for a headache.
