generally prestiq addressed the problems which resulted in me going on the drug but there are significant side effects particularly nausea, dizziness and constipation being the big three. nausea can be intense at times, but it is brief, comes on like a wave,

I'm sorry that your son is having this issue, and I do think you're right to be concerned. I have asthma and it runs on both sides of the family, so we weren't surprised when our daughter developed it at 2. She was pretty bad--she was on oral steroids etc and had regular breathing treatments. The pediatrician actually ENCOURAGED me to try alternative meds as he said this stuff isn't really tested in kids and we have no clue about the long term. Doctor just kind of prescribed this medication for me after looking at some of my blood work. I am not always sure why I have to take it, hopefully the doctor will take me off it the next time I go in.

Adderall may not be considered one of the best drugs for the typical person, but it has many benefits. I will warn people about the mood swings though, you will find yourself irritated and aggressive when coming down from the medicine. I'm able to focus more, and sleep less. (I had a minor case of Narcolepsy, I would sleep about 14 hours a day, and wasn't completing any school work)
