I take 2g per day for pseudotumor cerebri, so I know that is a lot. Diamox has helped my high pressure headaches and helped keep most of the PTC symptoms at bay, however, it does have some issues of its own. Before I began taking a potassium supplement, my energy level was greatly decreased, my blood pressure was EXTREMELY low (about 86/50) on a regular basis and I would experience leg cramps as well as stabbing pains in both my feet and my hands. Since I have started on Lisinopril-HCTZ 20/12.5MG I have been gaining weight. I used to be 130 and I was 175 lbs a couple of months ago. Its like being on a roller coaster with my weight since I have started on this medication. I am now 155lbs and cant seem to get anylower than that. I even went to a nutrinist ofr 3 months and a strict exercise program and nothing has helped. I never had this problem with my weight.
