My daughter began taking Ortho-cept in August of 2009. It was the only prescription drug or any other , besides an occasional headache medicine she took. On September 11, 2009, she became light-headed at her college dorm and passed out. She came to and went again to get her roomate from another room and passed out a second time upon arriving there after only being there a few minutes. I was put on Lyrica to control my sciatic nerve pain after I had back surgery. I took this for three months and I saw no improvement in my pain that I was having in my leg. I experienced heavy fatigue while taking this I was always tired and felt kinda light headed and dizzy. My doctor took me off of this and prescribed me Keppra instead, it was a much better product for me.

My daughter was very seriously sickened by this poison and the CDC and the Senators and Congressmen still say they consider the risks/reward ratio. Bull! When 14 children are hurt by cribs they recall all cribs and stop selling them. When the Toyota pedals were "sticking" (so we are told...) and somewhere around 7 people are hurt and they make the big to do, but 59 deaths are reported along with an astronomical amount of damaged girls and they say 'weigh the risks'? Coartem is not like nivaquine ( another medication that I used to take for malaria) which used to itch me seriously. The main disturbing side effects are that it makes me tired and dizzy. A part from that, it is a good medication.

My experience using Methotrexate has been a positive one. I was a bit hesitant at first because it is supposed to be a strong drug, but it really helped with my arthritis pain. I've been off of this drug for over 2 years now and I have yet to have a flare up.
