I only take Maxalt when the migraine is so severe I can not see straight. I do not like a lot of the side effects but a lot of the times it will dull the pain to where I can function again.

Honestly, this medication did not really work for me. I had to switch to a more effective one, and I just don't remember the name of that one. But chloramphenicol was just useless, and with so many side effects, I used to wonder whether or not it was not worsening the symptoms of my typhoid fever.

I took Candex for three days, one capsule in the morning with a very large glass of water. I am very sensitive to all kinds of medicine, so I was prepared for the worst. The only thing that seems related in time to the Candex doses was the veins in my hands and fingers dilating (getting really big), making my hands ache and my fingers and palms itch. I started taking Lisinopril when I found out I had diabetes because it is supposed to help. I have felt lots better since i started it.

My child was given an adult dose every 28 days for 9 months and now has Osteopenia, low D levels (22) and several other bone issues that have made her disable. There are no doctors that will validate that the overdose cased her problems. She was a very active, normal child before this happen. Stay AWAY from this drug at all cost!!

First 18 months of treatments: smooth sailing. Then the infusion reactions started. They are starting earlier in the infusion and lasting longer after the infusion. It's scary, but we are trying to keep on top of it with anti inflammatory meds.
