Like Toradol, an EXTREMELY effective painkiller. Very useful for older patients who are not only often living in chronic pain, but also depressed, anxious, and becoming demented. Discomfort is known to cause many of the problems of nursing home patients, which in turn create ethical problems for staff, and then society in general. Medrol has been the one prescription that seems to help right away. The up side to this drug is it takes away the pain the inflammation makes and gives me energy. The down side is the potential side effects can be very bad.

I have been taking one Advil PM about an hour before bedtime for about 6 months since I have a lot of insomnia. It is just as effective now as it has ever been. I am just not sure about longterm use. I do not take other meds.

I used to take Claritin before it was over-the-counter (after which it failed to work for me) and I also tried Zyrtec, which never really worked for me. Out of all of the allergy medications I've used, Allegra appears to be most effective for my seasonal allergies although it is not quite as effective for my animal allergies.

When this medication was administered through IV I felt as if it worked better, I felt such a great relief but then as I took it sublingual it had a bad after taste and it relieved my nausea but I guess i was expecting the same effect as through IV, but it did help the nausea a lot, and I could sleep better and actually be around food. Great medication besides the bad after taste.

Ambien is great to get a good nights sleep if you have trouble. It makes me a little groggy the next day but that doesnt last very long. The doctor told me that it isnt good for long term use though because it can be habit forming.
