I was told to take this while we were trying to get pregnant. I had to stop taking it because it left a metalic taste in my mouth and I was very nausea. I had a huge appetite while I was taking this also.

I have had simular issues. I first started taking chantix Oct 29, 2008. I had terrible abdominal pain and severe nausea. So, I convinced myself to continue taking the drug because I thought nausea and abdominal pain was better than continuing to smoke. Boy was I wrong. I quit smoking on Nov 15, 2008 AND quit taking chantix 3 days later. I knew I had to because chantix was making me very ill. I had an ingrown toe nail on my big toe on my foot, and the doctor said I had a bacterial infection. He then prescribed Cephalexin and to soak it in salt; my toe was better within a month!
