I know a lot of people have been experiencing side effects from this, but I have had no problems from the shots whatsoever. I'm going to get my last dose in December. I don't like shots, but for me, that's the worst part of the experience. I want to prevent HPV and have not had any problems with some of the extreme side effects others are claiming.

I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one.... Levaquin

Three weeks ago I took 500mg per day of Levaquin for five days to treat a sinus condition. I have extreme fatique, shoulder, knee, finger, foot pain, and aches in my back and legs. I did not have this previous to taking this medication. Now, I want to know, how long will this go on. I hope it is not a permanent condition. It is difficult to contnue my normal activities.

Levothyroxine Sodium

Even though my blood work comes back normal, I am still cold most of the time when others around me are not. I am told being cold is a side effect of hypothyroidism. So I don't know if that was supposed to improve while taking Levothyroxine or not.

I was diagnosed with sinus infection and prescribed Levaquin on 3 separate occasions, all within an 18 month span. In all three instances, the Levaquin cleared up the infection, but after the third round of drug therapy, I experienced a drastic change in personality. I became severely depressed, entertained suicidal thoughts, became very confused and disoriented, and suffered constant joint pain. In general, I felt terrible! After taking Lunesta several days, I noticed slight memory loss- had to be reminded of something I had previously said, could not remember if I had done something or not. I then started breaking the tablets, taking half the dosage to see if there would be a change, but did not continue long enough to notice a difference- somewhat relunctant to continue the medication.

I went off this drug this morning and am looking forward to not bleeding for a month straight at a time (I think of the 3 ½ months i've been on it, i've bled for 2 ½ - 3 months). I certainly won't miss severe mood swings (or crying jags). I have't gained weight - but i've had a tough time loosing it. I wonder how long it will take for my system to get back to "normal".
