After being made hypothyroid due to RAI treatment, I still feel that levothyroxine can do a better job of affecting the emotional and psychological side of treatment, too. At this time I feel that it doesn't work well with all areas of hypothyroidism's effects.

I started Piracetam on a Friday. I felt like I slept better and during waking hours, I didn't stress as much about things. I was very "mellow". I have been taking this medication for about 10 years and I like the results. I had kidney stones for about 4 to 5 episodes in the last 30 years and ever since i was on the Allopurinol I haven't had any kidney stones and I have really enjoyed that !!!

I had a bad cold/sinus infection. I went to the doctor and he said I had Bronchitis, a Sinus Infection, and Ear Infection. He prescribed me with Zithromax and it works fast. I recommend it for anyone else who has what I have.

I would have thought 3 months is a long enough trial, I don't think therefore that this one is going to work for you... Have you tried anything else? If this is the next in a long list of "things to try" then can I suggest that you go back to your GP and ask for a dermatology referral. There is a drug called Roaccutane ( you may have heard of it) Yes, its strong and Yes, it does have side effects, but it is effective against acne when all else has failed.
