I am alcoholic.i drink wine more than 200ml for about 8 years.before a year suddenly i fell down due to high blood pressure.my doctor has prescribed me 1mg etizolam per day and advised me to give up wine but i didnt give up wine.now a days i take 1mg in morning at 7 am and 1 mg 11am daily.it gives me relax but on every evening i again drink wine.please suggest me.i want to give up wine and etizolam.

Doctors seem to hand this stuff out like candy to kids. When my kid started with asthma we went alternative and got her off the drugs ASAP--I really regret getting hooked on Ventolin all those years ago. My daughter is fine now--no symptoms at all. Her doctor was really thrilled and really surprised. She was off meds in 3 months after being really bad, and with a family history...I was lucky he was supportive; most docs aren't.

My mother 69 years old diagnosed for rectum cancer. After 6 cycles of Chemo , doctor advised 4 different cycle of Xeloda starting from 3 tables in morning and 2 in night. I was on Binicar for 3 weeks with no reduction in blood pressure. My values were 150/90 (monitored for three weeks with cuff) Dr put me on Azor. 5mg/20mg Four (4) hours after first dose BP was 135/72. I will continue to document reading for 1 month to see if the values remain low at different times of the day.
