I started out with 4 tabs a day but that was way too much. Doctor's PA told me to take 2 a day which was an improvement but side effects, although lessened, continued. I experienced restlessness, tongue sucking, mouth pursing, jaw clenching, rash on face, throat tightness with muscle spasm. I learned that these side effects over time can be life long. I love Yaz- since being on Yaz, my overall moods have become more stable, and my appetite has become more regular. However, I still notice a significant change about a week prior to my period. I crave starchy, sugary foods, and I still get extremely tearful and emotional.

It helps remove acne, but it doesnt completely get everything or work all of the time. It also leaves an unpleasant residue on your skin as well as makes your skin dry.

So far, it's been a pretty effective acne medication gel. I use it as needed-whenever I get pimples. It helps dry up acne spots and clears the skin pretty quickly. Only con is that it drys out the skin , so I have to make sure to use moisturizer.

prescribed for compound fracture of left radius and ulna...caused severe nausea...discontinued use...started using as a pain killer before endurance sport training...far too addictive to continue...threw away remainder of prescription
