I use Aleve occasionally for general aches and pains. It is effective as a muscle relaxer, especially after running and excercising. I have never had a side effect from using Aleve.

Yaz was great for the first three months, then all of a sudden i became a horrible person to everyone around me. I started to have mood swings and severe pain everywhere and the pill actually lowered my potassium level instead of making it higher as advertised. i am finally switching to something else after numerous blood tests trying to find out what was wrong with me. it happens to be that Yaz was making me fall apart. i hate it! Prednisolone

Prednisone makes me jittery, and gives me hot flashes intermittantly with chills. However, when weighing the benefits against the side effects, it is very much worth it.

Tizanidine Hydrochloride

If you are in severe pain, I really didn't feel any effects. After surgery and a good bit of pain was removed, I found out that tizanidine is rather powerful. I usually take a small amount, 2mg per day, until my pain rises, then I take as needed up to maximum dose. I know when to drop the dosage when I feel like par-boiled chicken and my muscles feel like they're going to fall off my bones. That is one strange feeling. I was forced to take this drug for a colonoscopy after I vehemently told the Dr that I didn't want it and to use a painkiller and not an amnesiac. He told me he knew best and just used Versed. I have IBS, I was wide awake in excrutiating pain, tears were running down my face and I tried to scream that I felt like a weedwhacker was turned on inside of me, but I was totally paralized!!!
