After almost 18 months of back pain so severe that I could not walk without being in agony for more than 2 minutes, now I can walk with little or no pain, am able to exercise again and so am starting to get fitter and lose weight. My blood pressure was so high that I thought I was going to have to go to the E.R.. Atenolol has definittely helped but it also makes me sick to my stomach

Since starting this using Carbimazole I have noticed a reduction in my heart racing and hands shaking but I have had constant throat infections from about 6 weeks including 2 chest infections, pleurisy, laryngitis and now tonsillitis and a swollen eye, all with a high temperature and headache. With the exception of a few day in between each episode when I have felt well. I think I will stop taking this product.

I have used Topamax for almost four years and I am very satisfied with the way that it helped my headaches (both daily and migraines). However, it has caused severe memory and concentration problems. I don't feel as if I can join in intellectual discussions anymore (I went to Harvard) and I am very forgetful. I'm now switching to Lamictal in the hopes that I'll get my brain back. This is a great drug if you don't lose your mind. I would for sure give it a try.
