I suffered Panic Attacks, Depression, Anxiety, Heart Palpitations, ans convulsions while using microgestin for 5 years. I lived in a state of shock all day every day. I like it becuase it helps with sleep (to aleviate anxiety to fall asleep)---but when I wake up I seem "foggy"---and have VERY BAD short term memory (in the a.m.---ie. forgetting If I feed the dogs---10minutes after feed them..so I have to leave reminders for myself to make sure I did these things.....

Since stopping the medication Ive had horrendous side effects which have meant I've spent the last 3 days in bed and I'm still no better. I'm wondering how long these side effects will last. I stopped meds on Monday and have woken up I'll again today. I have sever hot and cold sweats, headache, muscle ache, nausea, general feeling of being unwell like I'm coming down with flu. Will I feel like this for much longer? It's debilitating.
