I suffer from Fibromyalgia and a variety of chronic joint and muscle pain. I cannot take anti-inflamatories because I take Coumadin (blood thinner). I was prescribed Percocet after major shoulder surgery and found it was the 'best' pain releif I'd ever gotten for my whole body. I am on a relatively low-dose for chronic pain and yes, I know this is physically addictive. However, quality of life is addictive as well!!!! I took vicodin for pain relief after an ACL surgery. It greatly helped with the pain, but it had some negative side effects, such as dizziness and loss of appetite.

Was started on Ramapril for High BP after 6 weeks develpoed constant bad cough. Doctor changed it to losatan now 5weeks in get daily headache which last all day. Plus aches and pains in joints and double vision, and also very vivid dreams if I can actualy get to sleep. Not happy , am back at doctors today in hope of finding a BP med that I can tolerate without getting side effects that stop me from being able to work or function in daily life.

My doc and I are still trying to work out the right dose to combat the sleepiness that my antidepressants cause (I've tried many - all make me sleepy). On 75mg, I can get through the day but am exhausted at night when it wears off. On 150mg, I feel fantastic - have tons of energy, am happier, a little less hungry (which is great considering the weight gain that's happened with trying so many antidepressants), but I lay awake at night for hours. I take vitamin C to improve my immune health. Overall, I think it works but can't really prove it because I never had frequent cold symptoms to begin with. I figure a pill a day can't hurt.

About 2 hours after taking the pill every morning I'm in a bad mood and it stays that way for most of the day. I have noticed that I am feeling more depressed and irritable... totally not me.
