before I started a treatment with amlodipine, I used to have several headaches and all the time, and feeling dizzy as well. Since I have been using it, the frequency of the headaches decreased, and I don't feel anymore dizzy.

I have developed cystocele (mild) and sometimes notice the ring, but before that never noticed anything. Positive effect on blood pressure which was too high on the pill. I need my computer calendar to inform me when to take it out though, as I do sometimes forget. All the positive effects of birth control- less acne, hair and skin less oily, smaller, predictable periods and light to no cramps. I experienced a change in breast size though, over the pill.

I was taking Vitamin D3 and I stopped taking to make my own observations. I find that when I take vitamin D3 four hours later, still BP is higher. Don't know if it's a coincidence but evaluating.

The initial hair loss was much more than I expected - probably half my hair if I judged by the thickness of my ponytail and lasted longer than expected probably 9 months from the start of my taking it. I didn't notice it too much for the first 4-5 months but I was also taking prednisone then. After I stopped the prednisone about 6 months in with the Imuran the hair loss became pronounced. Started taking OrthoCept to control my ovarian cysts...Worked Great...cysts were gone...premen. symptoms were gone..lite flows...However, I had horrible migraines during the placebo pills from withdrawl...and discovered ...after stopping the pill that all the Heart palpatatons I was having was related to taking the pill.....Now Im in a Rut and cant find any bc to take that doesn't give me migraines...and needless to say..my cysts are back... :(
