Originally, my dosage was started at 50mg, then raised gradually to 150mg. Androgel has reduced (to almost eliminated)---the "low level" blues I've been experiencing. However, since I started it (along side another drug)--I've had *EXTREME* fatigue. (to the point of sleeping 24-48 hours STRAIGHT--with only waking up for bathroom breaks). A Drug Rep suggested I up my dosage, I'm waiting to see the Doctor to do this. It's true that the taste is awful, and the bit of numbing is weird! But I have never slept better, and I wake up without any drug effects. I fall asleep about 20 minutes after I take it, so I plan accordingly. I find that it's less "yucky" if I place it under my tongue in such a way that I can make a tight "seal" over it with the rest of my tongue.
