I have been taking Spiriva for many years. I have COPD even though I have never smoked. It worked well for me until recently....I am now 71....I have had many side effects, including urinary tract infections, severe constipation, depression, blurred vision, dry mouth. I became extremely angry with loved ones, lashing out, and almost lost my family. Since switching to Advair, I am no longer angry all the time and my family is whole again. I still carry an albuterol inhaler just in case, but the Advair was a miraculous change in both my level of asthma and my well-being mentally.
