This medication was prescribed to help with my fibromyalgia. Taking this medication has slowly deteriorated my quality of life. It no longer helped with the pain so I discussed it with my physician and it was decided that I could come off this meedication. The "withdrawal" is the most difficult thing I have ever been through. I've been on Klonopin since the end of April. My doctors figured out the problem I was having wasnt anxiety so they are taking me off the Klonopin. I am having hot flashes, very irritable, and am having mild anxiety. It works for anxiety but it makes me really tired. Its hard to stay awake all day without taking a nap.

I have been taking Pristiq for 4 weeks and it has made a major difference in my quality of life. I did not experience any negative side effects but then everyone's body chemistry is different.
