This seems to be the most effective drug for depression/anxiety that I have been given. I have been on quite a few. It doesnt seem to have any side effects, which was great. The only problem I have is when I dont take it. There have been times when I was due for a refill and had to wait until payday or for the pharmacy to open on Monday. I had a very hard time when I first started the Cipralex, You name the side effect I had it, nausea, lack of appetite, problems with sleeping, crazy vivid dreams, dizzy, couldnt concentrate, anxiety (which i never had before). Those got better after about 2-3 wks of being on it. I was having the problem of tiredness so my doctor increased my dose so I take a half tab before bed. This drug was supposed to raise my Hdl, I took it only 3 or 4 times as it really caused my blood sugar to spike. If you are diabetic I would not recommend this

I experienced a Pulmonary Embolism in my right lung. While at the hospital, the histology department ran 5 tests on me to see if I have a genetic condition. It turns out I have a condition called Lupus Anticoagulant, which naturally thickens my blood. I will have to on Wafarin Sodium for the rest of my life, and I have to have my INR level checked every three weeks to make sure it isn't too thick or too thin.
