Listen to me if you don't listen to anyone else. DO NOT GET THE REST OF THE HPV VACCINES. THEY CAN HARM YOU OR KILL YOU! They can cause your immune system to over-react and attack your own body. Unfortunately, I know this from experience. The illness can be life-threatening. I am a registered nurse practicing for 30 years now-these vaccines are dangerous.

I'm sorry that your son is having this issue, and I do think you're right to be concerned. I have asthma and it runs on both sides of the family, so we weren't surprised when our daughter developed it at 2. She was pretty bad--she was on oral steroids etc and had regular breathing treatments. The pediatrician actually ENCOURAGED me to try alternative meds as he said this stuff isn't really tested in kids and we have no clue about the long term. I was prescribed this and Ibuprofen (600 mg tablets) after having my wisdom teeth removed, and it worked very effectively with no side effects if taken regularly as long as the pain persisted.
