I have taken nuvigil for about a year now. I have not had a problem with hair loss. As for sleeping, I don't normally have a problem. I too am a teacher and have difficulty with my summer's lack of routine. I know the medicine doesn't help as much if I don't take it right away in the morning. Also, I have started using the alarm clock to have a more consistent wake-up time; this seems to help too.

My Doctor just removed me off Junel Fe. I had 4 surgeries for SEVERE venous insufficiency a few months ago, and now i have developed a blood clot. i am a former athlete and soccer player and am VERY healthy. i started on this pill to prevent ovarian cysts from re-occuring. After having the 3rd and final Gardasil injection I experienced shocking headaches and was hospitalised 13 times in 3 months. I lost my sight in one eye which has still not fully recovered. I had numbness of the face and mouth. Weakness on the left side of my body. Over a year ago (9/2008) I fell very badly on concrete, with my left leg bent underneath me. After various doctor visits and therapy sessions, which did no good, I decided to do what a friend told me to do for months...TRY ZYFLAMEND! I have been taking Lybrel for just over a year. I noticed my eyebrows thinning and initially thought it was due to a bad wax job. However, they have continued to thin dramatically. Horrible. Have been on it this go around for 2 weeks. I have broken out in acne all over my face, gained 6 pounds literally overnight, my throat has felt swollen for 2 days and my stomach is horribly bloated. I am taking this for endometriosis, and frankly I would rather keep dealing with it than taking these pills. I was on them years ago before my kids were born and did not notice these issues.
