I have rosacea and had been taking oral antibiotic, minocin 50 mg 2-3X per week since 1998; I felt like I was developing a tolerance and might have to increase dosage; instead I went off the minocin, and when my face started to blossom, I took Zyflamend, one capsule per day with food and have been doing so for 3 weeks now. The first 2 months were hell. It felt like every thought had to be pulled through a vat of mollasses to be had. I didn't sleep more than 2 hours in a row, couldn't remember the simplest figures and had to drop 2 classes at school. Furosemide and torsemide both cause me to have horrible burning foot pain and terrible pain in my ankles knees and joints. I have to take diuretics due to CHF if i stop taking it the foot pain gradually goes away but then i need the diuretic again - I can barely walk its truly excrutiating! Its ruining my life!
