I was put on ativan 3 times per day starting in january for panic attacks that I was having. The problem with ativan is that if you are having a panic attack it takes a while for the medicine to kick in and stop it. I also was having some side effects with it such as tremors and nightmares. My doctor switched me to xanax and I liked it a lot better. It stopped my panic attacks within 10 minutes of taking the medicine vs the hour it took to stop them when I was taking the adivan. I used to take diovan and tenoretic - switched to tenoretic and benicar - I experienced extreme hair loss and gout. plus diovan was expensive. Decided to try benicar but seems worse. Lightheadedness, dry mouth, dry stool, gout. Don't know what else until I get results from my check-up. I just don't feel right. I have been a parapalagic for the last 23 years. I had a radical prostictimy. Later my PSA increased. Took the Lupron and my life went to hell. I have been taking lortab for 5 years now due to an auto accident that caused me to have a fusion done in my back. It is great at relieving pain but only very temporary maybe 2-3 hours at the most if I'm lucky. I usually have to take 2 a day and on a bad day I take 3. The only downfall I see to it is that it is habit forming and the longer you take it the more your body builds a tolerance for it and the less effective it is in helping relieve pain
