My son was diagnosed as Bipolar but was mostly manic and rarely depressed. The doctors started him on Effexor which put him in such a high state of mania that he had to be hospitalized. Yet the doctors kept prescribing this poison. They counteracted it with Seroquel which made him sleep, and Lithium which made him shake so badly he could barely hold onto anything. It is good to take before going on a boat if you get seasick. It is good for other kinds of motion sickness as well. It makes you extremely tired.

Around the time I started taking Daytrana, I noticed that I was sweating more often. I took Daytrana for about 2 years. I went to my doctors and none of them could figure out why I was all of a sudden sweating so much. When my psychiatrist decided to take me off of the Daytrana, I stopped sweating. When i first started this med it was like a dream but as the months passed i ended up getting more and more side effects on the continous use of the drug plus i gained weight like crazy i started to lose my memory each time i took the med i found myself and the memory detorating and i have problems with concentration which i didnt have when i first started the med
