This medication made me feel worse. It is the worst medication I have ever taken. My doctor warned me that it might give me a bad taste in my mouth, but the taste didn’t bother me. What bothered me the most was the feeling it gave me. I became very nauseated and I couldn’t eat anything without almost vomiting. My stomach was in knots and I was very lightheaded. I would NEVER take this medication again.

Fascinating side effect! Did you talk to your doctor about it? A study last year did find that cytomegalovirus (CMV), a very common viral infection that affects nearly everyone by the age of 40, does in fact cause high blood pressure in some lab mice, especially in conjunction with a high cholesterol diet. I was on the Nuvaring for 1.5 years with excellent results: confidence in my birth control, no change in appetite, lighter, more comfortable periods.
