Have been on 200 mg Zoloft for five years and it's effect were beginning to wane. My doctor weaned me down to 100 mg of Zoloft and added 50 mg Pristiq approximately three month ago. The first few weeks on Pristiq I experienced nausea and upset stomach along with severe lethargy. I am not crazy, I am on the wrong form of birth control for me. I have gained 30+ pounds and have NO sex drive. I am not interested in anything, and I am fat. That being said, I am not pregnant which is the whole point of the IUD. I am taking it out next week and going back on the pill; a new baby is easier to handle than anymore weight gain.

i have been on and off cymbalta for about 4or6 years . its a nightmare to get off of, the one thing i really dread is the twinges im not sure if thats a good way to explain it, i feel like im getting an electrical schock treatment all day. i can turn my head and it happens. if someone comes up behind me to scare me it shocks my system. sorry about the non-medical terms, it obviously upsets me and makes me irritable. I recently started menopause and it actually came much earlier for me. I had been experiencing really bad moodswings and I feel as though this hormone pill really helped control that. In addition to that I was undergoing a divorce and a lot of stress at home and I feel that this hormone pill really made me calm down more and helped decrease my stress level.
