I have been taking this drug on and off for almost 15 years. I have tried all kinds of other similar drugs and I always come back to plain of generic prozac. my Doc tells me that lots of her patients do also...it just works the best and keeps me steady.

The first three months were hellish. i constantly needed to throw up. my head hurt. i was exhausted. after that everything calmed down. i still feel nauseous in the mornings but it's bearable. i'm much calmer. my enthusiasm for certain things has dulled and i'm pretty sure my sex drive has decreased. but it was pretty darn high to start off with so situation still isn't critical :-) my sensitivity (physical) has decreased though which is a down side. my sense of urgency has gone which is good... While I realize that everybody is different and one birth control pill may not be better than the next. I was given this pill because I have had bad side effects from the pill previously and my Dr said that this pill was designed for women just like me. All I will say is it is the worse pill I have even taken. My side effects were the worse than any pill I have tried previous. I would not recommend it!

I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one.... Excedrin is awesome. Much better than Motrin or aspirin. I took it after my dog kicked me in the eye(funny huh), the kick broke a giant blood vessel in my eyelid and was bleeding like crazy but Excedrin prevented the black eye so I'm pretty happy about it.
