I recieved a cortiosone injection in my shoulder yesterday and almost 5 minutes after having it done I had nausea and the worst headache I have ever had. I also was very weak. I tried to work but had to come home and once I did a slept from 2pm - 8pm when I woke up with a 102.1 fever. I took 1000 mg of tylenol and it still didnt break my fever. Took it for 6 months starting with a high dosage to treat pericarditis. I kept to a strict diet and only gained 5 lbs during the 6 months but the other side effects were awful. Developed severe joint pain from head to toe and had leg and foot cramps. I would wake at night in terrible pain that was awful enough to leave me crying. Pain controlled.....lowered prescription, because I had trouble sleeping. I was taking 4-6 100mg a day for pain after extensive dental work. Lowered to 2 100mg after 3 days for a total of 8 days.

I take this for headaches, or menstrual cramps, suggested dose 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. Not always relieves the pain. But i feel normal when i take it.
