I started experiencing chest pain, or acid reflux a few weeks ago. My mom bought me Prevacid; I don't recommend it..it helps but only for an hour or so.

This was a very, very bad experience. I was completely unable to sleep longer than 1 hour at a time. Over the 5 months I was taking this, that sleep loss added up. I was tired all the time, could not eat due to severe nausea, and saw things that were not there (this was confirmed by my husband). The tender breast, and bloating were not pleasent as well as the sever sensitivity to emotions, mostly crying to Disney commercials. Other than that it did do its job in preventing pregnancy.

To ad few side effect to the list...21 Sept 2015 my left eyelid started to burn and hitch,a red patch. My right eyelid had little skin tag and blurry vision...very sleepy sometimes. We are still looking for a family doctor and these days it's pretty hard to find or get the help we need.The question...do I stay on the(5mg) medication or not and I am sure,I need a lower prescription than Cipralex ?
