I had 2 shots of depo to help with my severe PMS. Whilst I was on it, I didn't notice a huge difference but when I decided to stop taking it, I never had a period for 11 months. I put some weight on whilst having the shots but put on even more weight after coming off it, gaining 2 stone in total. I am a sufferer of menstrual migraines. I don't have bad periods, just a migrain for 7 days. Its hard to function with one full week out of the month designated to nursing a migrain. Seasonale has decreased these substantially!!! No spotting, easy period.This pill seemed to work like its supposed to for me. During the 4th month I am having some of the tight, heavy chest feeling and my blood pressure is too high all of a sudden. Working with the doctor to see what the cause is.

I am a 42 year old woman who suffers with heavy periods and have done for most of my life! I recently started taking Norethisterone to help with my periods, which has helped. I suffer with anemia due to heavy periods, so regularly take Ferrous Sulphate, however this upsets my stomach and makes me feel ill, so I try and take the liquid form which combines Vit C with the Iron. Captopril lowers my blood pressure effectively with mild side effects. I would recommend any one with High blood pressure to take this drug as well as a diet change
