I would get off of these drugs and go for acupuncture and herbal treatments. It's not worth the side effects. When I took lisinopril for 3 months, I felt like I had the flu the entire time. My BP was only high at the PCP's office because they always managed to tick me off before I got in to see the Dr, then had to wait an hour or more. I have had to go without cymbalta before if I've missed a dose or wasn't able to fill it right away and I notice a huge difference like a withdrawl affect. I will get nervous/anxious, sweaty, fidgity, irritable.

I was on a variety of different fertility drugs for about 2 1/2 years. Decided that I didn't like the side effects of being on them, so I stopped taking all fertility drugs at once. I have had major acne breakouts while on Levora. I have also gained about 10 pounds while I have been on it. I switched from Microgestin 30 because that made me constipated and moody but I plan on switching again soon to another pill.

My mother, age 85, was taking Prednisone for pulmonary fibrosis and it caused congestive heart failure and she died about 3 wks after she started taking it. It also had a host of other unpleasant side effects, but death trumped those. It made her irritable, prone to emotional outbursts, skin breaking open and oozing, and more. Gordon Caldwell Fund
