I was originally prescribed pills that only contained 0.030 mg of synthetic estrogen for extremely painful cramps (and also hoped that they would help control some of my bad acne). I experienced some breast tenderness, and the acne hardly cleared as we had hoped. I was soon switched to MonoNessa, which has 0.035 mg of the estrogen in it, and I think it has worked wonderfully. Last year while I had the H1N1 virus (didn't know it was the virus at the time, I had it prior to all the publicity) I was taking Zicam to relieve the sinus congestion that I had. I may have taken it a little longer than prescribed because what I had was not going away, nasty flu. Anyway I did get better but I have lost my sense of smell! It's been over a year now and it still has not come back.

When I switched from Imitrex to Treximet, I found relief was within an hour and if I had a bad migraine and took a second one after one hour it was gone. In the past, My severe Migraines could last on and off for 3-5 days at its worst. Side effect is heartburn. I want to thank my Pharmist Richard for telling me about the drug...I had to ask my doctor about it and then she gave me a sample.
